imitation really is the best form of flattery

found this fantastic quote over at oopsidaisi yesterday and it really had me thinking!

there has been soo many blog posts & facebook updates lately regarding imitation,duplication,emulation,replication...

everytime i turn on the computer this is all i seem to be reading ...

but was it REALLY your idea ?

be honest ~ where did you get your inspiration ?

do you own that idea ? ~ really ?

in most cases no ....

' everything in design is recycled ' ~ { yes its true }

....its how we've put together what we've seen that makes us unique { and our items } ~ bunny williams

best advice ~ ' stop worrying what the next person is doing and focus on yourself & your business ~ this is when you will be most successful ' { really its true }

lets embrace the handmade community ~ my greatest love is to help my handmade sisters be the best they can be ~ i love to support and see them grow & prosper ~

can we stop judging each other & simply show love & support ?

who's idea was it first ? ~ who cares !
